Despite having been together for a very long time, Lorry and I have never had a joint exhibition (or even had work in any other exhibition at the same time!). That all changed in May 2014 when we put our own joint exhibition into The Fisher Theatre in Bungay. We started with a very well attended open evening/private view on Tuesday 20th May and the exhibition comes down on Sunday 15th June. Having only been in the region for a relatively short time, a large number of our friends and contacts live some distance from Bungay and were unable to get to the PV or see the exhibition. So – here is a gallery of photos taken right after we’d set everything up. For Malcolm, the exhibition was something of a “retrospective” as he had the opportunity to show several of his larger coloured pencil works which have not been seen together for some time. However, during the period of the exhibition, he also had work out at two taster exhibitions for the Harleston and Waveney Art Trail and also kept a number of smaller, more recent paintings ready for the two “open studio” weekends at home at the end of May.
