At a recent exhibition, I read in the introductory statement that the artist’s approach had been to use

“random processes and self-initiated rules”.

Doesn’t this just mean “Making it up as I go along”?

My coloured pencil painting – “Moo-vergne” – has been awarded one of the three sponsor’s prizes at this year’s Preston Open Exhibition.

The exhibition is at The Harris Art Gallery in Preston and open until 28th December 2009.
